Patrick:  Welcome to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and welcome aboard this 2020 Sirena 58 Coop, ALEXA. I’m Patrick Hopkins with Denison Yachting.

Morgan: And I’m Morgan Sandoval. Sirena Yachts is one of the most popular Turkish builds in the US. ALEXA spends her time in the picturesque Narragansett Bay during the summer, and is currently located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Patrick: The first thing you notice, even before you step aboard is her iron gray all grip paint shop. A perfect complement to her gorgeous hull design. Starting all the way aft, this retractable swim platform houses a 12-foot AB inflatable tender. Just forward of the tender is access to your converted crew quarters, which has a Miele washer dryer, as well as a head and shower. The teak will continue all the way forward up the side deck to the first step.

The aft seating and gloss finished table make for a perfect al fresco dining experience. A sure shade retracts from the top, giving shade to this area.

Forward of this, we have your engine access. This Sirena 58 is powered by two Caterpillar 8.7s with just 450 hours. This power plant sets her up for an 18 knot cruise while burning 40 gallons per hour. Also in the engine room is a Cummins Onin and 18 and a half KW generator and a favorite among cruisers, the sea keeper nine making for stable Bahamian Anchorages, even when conditions are not ideal. Following the side decks all the way forward, we get to the bow.

All the way forward. We have our anchor tackle, a large sun pad with a retractable headrest. Moving aft, we have fender storage compartments that store lines in fenders, and they flank this forward seating. Sirena’s given us a small replaceable ladder that fits in one of the fender storage lockers, which brings us here to the hard top.

Up here, you can see how massive the skylights are that look down into the salon. A radar, two domes and six solar panels that power the boat at anchor without having to run the generator. Before we move to the helm, a quick stop in the cockpit reveals this aft docking station, a captain’s dream when having a single-handed vessel of this size giving views all the way forward on the starboard side, and a great way to keep your eye on the port aft quarter. Two vantage points you will not get from the main helm.

Moving forward from the simple aft helm station all the way forward to your main helm station, we have two garment displays. A magnetic compass that is flanked by two caterpillar displays, your sea keeper displays all of the 12 volt options you would need to run at the helm.

Your windless chain counters your zip weight control for your trim tabs, a Garmin autopilot, your bound stern thrusters, searchlight control, throttle controls, and your garment VHF radio.

Morgan: ALEXA’s aft galley is placed intentionally so that you can entertain from either the cockpit or the salon area. You can see here that it’s a split galley. On the starboard side, you have your Miele four top burner oven, and here a dishwasher. Additionally, a double basin sink. You have storage overhead. And your AC controls are also on the starboard side. This galley is designed with Corian countertops, a stainless steel backsplash and hardwood oak floors throughout. To port, you have double Vitrifrigo fridge freezer combinations with four drawers that can be selected and interchanged based on your needs for the day. Additionally, you have extra outlets for countertop, appliances, extra storage space and a custom three storage bin over here.

With just one step up into the salon, you’re immersed into beautiful natural light from these two large overhead skylights. This is one of my personal favorite spots on the Sirena 58, just because you get 360 ocean views, but also beautiful blue skies above. Support of the salon, you have a U-shaped sitting area with foldable leaf table, two storage drawers below, and also your fusion Bluetooth audio controls. On the starboard side of the salon, there is an L-shaped couch with double storage below and a high low Samsung TV.

Moving forward, we have a co-pilot chair starboard access to exit the vessel, and for those two large skylights I mentioned earlier, you have a handheld remote to be able to close a retractable ceiling shades. Additional to the electronics at the helm station, you have large storage cabinets here, and additionally, your electronics panel can be found underneath.

As you descend the staircase, you’ll find the VIP state room forward. The state room houses a queen size bed, two wardrobe hanging lockers, port and starboard, storage cupboards at bed level, two reading lights, two multi-speed fans, and an escape hatch to the four deck area. You also have two opening portholes with screens.

Here there’s a vessel sink, plenty of counter space with below counter drawer and cupboard storage, Corian countertops, planus electrical marine toilet, and a wet head with teak floor grate and shower ward.

The guest state room boasts twin births that run fore and aft a nightstand in between the births with a drawer, a wardrobe hanging locker. Two multi-speed fans and additional storage shelves. You also have an opening porthole with a screen.
