Burger Superyacht INDEPENDENCE Sold by Don Strong

Denison is pleased to announce the sale of INDEPENDENCE, an 82′ Burger built in 1996. Denison Broker Don Strong in Naples represented the buyer, and Myton Ireland of Ireland Yacht Sales represented the seller. 

INDEPENDENCE is the first hull to incorporate Burger’s new bottom/tunnel design with the latest technology in noise and vibration control. She is an elegant Burger both inside and outside and possibly the finest pre-owned Burger available.

INDEPENDENCE is a freshwater Burger stored in a climate controlled building until summer of 2013 with low hours (1,700 total time) on Caterpillar engines. She has an aft engine room, three ensuite staterooms and an ensuite crew cabin forward, along with an open aft deck, walkaround side decks, large salon, day head, raised pilothouse and country kitchen on deck forward of the pilothouse.

She is beautifully designed and decorated, accented with light and dark woods with fiddle back anigre and full radius corners throughout. Her salon, galley and pilothouse feature an artistic herringbone floor pattern of anigre and black ebony.

Lying in Sanibel Island, Florida, she was asking $2,450,000.
