I’m Alex Clarke with Denison Yachting and today I’m going to take you onboard the 2015 68-foot Princess named Clarity.
Beginning at the stern, a hydraulic swim platform carries a custom Williams 385 jet tender. Also you can find your crew access for two in this area. Moving to the aft deck you have boarding doors to both sides and a freshwater wash-down. And when docking you’ll appreciate having these electric winches from the stern lines.
Here on the aft deck you have a covered high-low table, two access boarding doors to the port and starboard side and the access to your engineer.
Let’s go ahead and move to the bow. The forward section is quite unique for a 68 – a lounge and sunpad with plenty of storage beneath. We’re back on the aft deck heading up to the flybridge. The aft section has another sunpad and she’s already been prepped for a crane, in case you’d rather have your water toy up here.
To starboard is your second exterior dining option. Again it’s covered by the hardtop above, and further forward is a lounge. To port is a full wet bar with electric barbeque, plenty of prep space, a sink, drawer fridge and storage. Your upper helm station has two Raymarine E125 displays, variable speed balance stern thrusters and of course excellent visibility for the captain and copilot.
Let’s move now into the main salon. The salon has walnut wood flooring in a satin finish and brand new carpet just forward. The open layout is complemented by huge windows all around. To the starboard side is your interior dining area with seating for 8. Positioned near the galley to port with a midnight black Avonite countertop and that walnut timber flooring. You have a four-zone ceramic cooktop, microwave with convection oven, dishwasher and a full height fridge-freezer.
Moving forward in the salon we enter another living space with a pop-up 46-inch LED TV, a fridge and ice maker, and across from here is a big U-shaped seating area. Forward to starboard we have the lower helm station. Clarity does have a Yacht Controller that will keep you calm at the dock. And to keep you calm at sea, she’s fitted with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer. Across from the helm station to the portside is a settee that’d be perfect for lunch or playing cards.
Now let’s head down below and explore the guest staterooms. First, to starboard is a guest stateroom with side-by-side berths that can convert to a double. An entertainment system and access to the ensuite that also functions as your dayhead. And across from the stateroom is the exact same setup.
Forward in the bow is your VIP stateroom. Plenty of light coming in from those sleek hull side windows, you have a vanity here on the portside, entertainment system, excellent storage and an ensuite head to port. One aspect that makes Clarity unique is her master stateroom, or let’s say the access to it. This can be found on the port side in the main salon via a private staircase leading down.
Here is your full-beam master, an impressive space with huge hull-side windows, 40-inch LED TV, a loveseat to port and a large vanity to starboard. Let’s open that up for you. Here in the master and throughout the boat you’ll see exquisite detail that is true Princess quality.
Forward to starboard here you’ll find the master head. And just outside of the master stateroom, you have a brand new full-size washer and dryer.
Clarity is powered by CATs giving her a cruise speed of 26 knots and a max speed of 30 knots. And as of September 2017, she has only 370 running hours on her main engines.
