Founded in 1976, Aegean builds classic motorsailers and motor yachts from wood and steel. Aegean has been primarily known for its production of wooden "Gulets", a more traditional style sailboat. Even though Aegean has deep-seated roots in the sailing community, they decided to venture into the realm of superyacht construction. This strategy has paid off well for the adventurous firm.

Aegean provides the client much more than just yacht construction. The shipyard handles refits as well as in-house yacht design, management, charter, and brokerage. The charter fleet is comprised of solely sailing superyachts built by the shipyard.
