Founded almost 100 years ago, Bilgin is an Instanbul based superyacht builder that utilizes cold-molded wood construction in its yachts. Bilgin is a true household enterprise that has been family-run for 5 generations. Bilgin has continued to use its unique wood construction for many of its builds. The technique incorporates double-layered epoxy laminated marine plywood on tough mahogany frames.

The 49m Bilgin Classic 160, Bilgin's largest yacht to date, utilizes the aftermentioned technique for construction. Bilgin thought outside the box with the construction of the 45 meter, "Elada". Elada features an instantly recognizable reverse bow design. She was designed in-house by Bilgin.
