We engaged Alex Clarke as yacht broker to sell our 2008 Sunseeker Manhattan 50 and we just closed the sale after about 10 months of active selling in a tough market for this class of boat.  We’d had the boat listed on the west coast for 18 months prior to listing with Alex.

Alex communicated well with me, which was critical to finding the right price and buyer.  Once we set expectations, Alex worked as my agent fluidly and made consistent decisions that were key to securing the deal I wanted.  When we made course corrections several times due to the changing market, he gave good guidance and executed well.

Over the course of the listing, we had two prospective buyers and a lot of interest.  I was impressed by Alex’s ability to bring to my attention only serious buyers, something our other brokers had trouble with. His understanding of the prospect’s situation also helped with the negotiation, which I believe yielded a higher price as a result.
