Rob Roy (ex-Bikini Queen), is a stylish trideck megayacht boasting many highlights, including: her entire bridge deck has been completely reserved for the owner; her Master Staeroom features a private jacuzzi, dressing room and balcony, and is located amidships with a private salon and a generously sized skylounge.

Yacht broker Alex Clarke comments “Rob Roy is a unique situation in that her owner has never slept onboard, nor has any guests thus explaining her low hours. The yacht has been maintained by a professional crew since her launch, and these remain as the only individuals who have stayed onboard the yacht overnight. Even her main galley has never been cooked in as the crew has a smaller galley back aft. Rob Roy is essentially a new yacht in perfect condition ready to be delivered to a new client for the upcoming Mediterranean Summer Season”.

Rob Roy 135′ Horizon Megayacht – Owner’s DeckOwners Deck The bridge wings offer a commanding view for manoeuvering, which coupled with the aft helm station, make this large yacht a pleasure to handle. Aft of the wheelhouse, the upper deck is reserved exclusively for the owner. The Owners Cabin is outfitted with cherry wood furniture, the bedroom ceiling partially covered in silver and the wall behind the master bed is decorated with silver leaf. There is a walk through wardrobe, desk and a luxurious en-suite equipped with a deep jacuzzi tub, multi-jet shower and acres of marble. A starry effect over the bath and a wide window complete the relaxing atmosphere. Aft of the Owners Cabin is a private Owners Lounge that also doubles as a Sky Lounge once the day begins, inviting guests to enjoy the superior view from this deck. The exterior aft deck is an equally impressive, inviting space to relax. Stairs lead from this area to the expansive upper sundeck. |
Rob Roy 135′ Horizon Megayacht – Main DeckWalking down the marble and mirrored staircase to the main deck we start at the forward end with the VIP suite, where guests can enjoy a roomy cabin, comparable to that of the master suite. The gold leaf detailing and ‘starry sky’ over the king size bed add a refined touch, then there is also the comfortable relaxing area, a walk in wardrobe, desk space and large en-suite. Moving aft, we pass the captains cabin and enter the black marble galley, generously equipped with a walk in refrigerator/freezer, separate stewardess area and crew dining table. The dining room can comfortably seat 10 around its oval glass table and chandelier. With lit glass cupboards and huge windows, with electric blinds, the atmosphere can be fine tuned to suit your occasion. Aft of the formal dining setting you enter an open lounge area with large sofa and sliding glass doors that blend the aft dining/seating area with the warm interior making sure that you & your guests feel at home. |
Rob Roy 135′ Horizon Megayacht – Interior NotesInterior designer Claudia Drettmann, assissted by Birgit Schnasse, was responsible for the interior and as always Claudia lent her individual flair to the rooms and furnishings. Her trademark chic ambience features brilliant silver coloured accessories and various marble varieties for floors and bathrooms. Birgit injected a bright contemporary and friendly feel, by using a lot of high gloss sycamore and marble. |
Rob Roy 135′ Horizon Megayacht – ExteriorModelled on an explorer yacht, there are many exterior spaces, starting with the enormous flybridge where the best views are obtained. This is equipped with a helm station, dublicating most of the bridge equipment, a large bar, ceramic grills, settees, sun loungers, an outdoor shower and a day head. The forward section is all covered by a hardtop with a glass window, whilst the aft section is open for the sun lovers to enjoy. Going down a deck, we come either to the owners private lounge/deck area, which has its own bar complete with bar tap, and an ‘Ibiza style’ sofa area, or alternatively use the interior stairway to avoid disturbing the owners private area. On the aft deck there is another bar/entertaining area, next to the large aft table which can seat six in sumptuous arm chairs, there is also an outside television and infrared heaters built into the deck head for any cool evenings. The abundance of large open spaces could easily accomodate 50 guests for an evening party in port, whilst the layout also manages to achieve a cosy ambience, due to the distrubution of living areas on all three decks. Each entertaining area has at least it’s own ice maker, wine cooler, refridgerator and sink, whilst the Creston networked media centres offer entertainment for each zone. |
Rob Roy 135′ Horizon Megayacht – Crew QuartersAccess to the crew area is via a seperate door from the portside deck and also from the bathing platform. The crew quarters are equipped with their own galley, laundry and crew mess. There are four crew cabins, all en-suite, the three in the crew area, plus the captains cabin located aft of the VIP on the main deck. Three of them are laid out to be flexible for either couples or single crew members, with no more than two crew to a cabin. |
