Bertram Yachts Announces New Sales & Service Organization

As part of the ongoing initiatives to develop and strengthen the Bertram Yachts organization, the company has appointed Don Smith in the capacity of V.P. of Sales with oversight of domestic and international markets.

Don has over 27 years of experience in the yachting industry and was most recently Vice President of Sales at Cabo Yachts, where he has spent the last four years. Prior to that, Don held Senior Management positions at Marine Max and Galati Yacht Sales managing select retail sales operations on the West Coast of Florida.

Don Smith was referred to the Bertram organization by Don Jones, who will now focus on the international markets as Director of International Sales. Don Jones, who has a wealth of experience including 10 years at Bertram and 30 years in the marine industry, will work directly with Don Smith. Both Don Smith and Don Jones will be based out of the Bertram Yacht Sales Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Seth Flippen has been appointed to the position of Sales Support Manager at Bertram Yacht and will relocate to the new Bertram plant in Merritt Island, Florida. Seth will work closely with the V.P. of Sales and Director of International Sales as the key liaison with the factory and production operations.

Geney Menendez has been promoted to lead the After Sales Service, Customer Care and Warranty programs at Bertram Yacht for both the domestic and international markets. Geney has been with Bertram since 2002 and has considerable experience with the Bertram brand. In addition to directly managing the Bertram service program, Geney will have direct responsibility for developing and managing a network of service partners in both North America and the international markets.
