Founded in 1985 by the Balducci family, Overmarine has delivered more than 300 yachts under the brand names Mangusta and Mangusta Oceanco. The company is still run by the Balducci family and operates out of 10 Italy-based manufacturing facilities. Its corporate offices are located in Viareggio while its other offices are located in Massarosa, Massa, Pisa and Tuscany.

The Overmarine Group builds open and displacement power superyachts and helped pioneer the design of high-performance superyachts with its Mangusta Maxi Open series. It also has a new Mangusta Oceanco displacement line which features 42- and 46-meter yachts. The Overmarine product line ranges from 22 to 65 meters in length.
