Blackfin Boats, established in 1973, is a manufacturer of center console and fish around sport fishing boats. Currently, the iconic offshore boats are being reintroduced with a new fleet under the ownership of Miami boat builders, Jose Suarez and Gustavo Cardona.

Blackfin started the production of popular, tournament-level boats with a 24’ deep-V console. In 1983, the Blackfin 29 was launched and became an instant sensation among fisherman until the end of its production in 1998. The Blackfin 29 came in the Combi and Flybridge models and was built to handle the wear and tear from toughest anglers and roughest seas.

Since 2001, Suarez and Cardona have kept a low profile, producing dozens of boats each year, including a 27’ center console, a 34 Open, and 34 Fisharound, at their production facility in Opa-Locka, Florida.

During the 1980’s and 90’s, Blackfin had a reputation as a one of kind offshore fishing boat admired for their quality ride and rugged build. Blackfin Boats partnered with a marketing firm and is working to relaunch the brand and reach new heights.
