Pro-Line Boats was founded by father and son, Ray and Dan Atwood, in 1968 as a small company building fishing boats for local guides. Crystal Outboard Motors was Pro-Line’s first dealer.

During the 1970’s and 80’s, Pro-Line expanded rapidly, introducing its first cuddy cabin model, deep-V model, and walkaround cabin series. In the early 1990’s, the company welcomed John E. Walker who launched a new era of design. Pro-Line owners formed American Marine Holdings in 1992.

Pro-Line’s largest government contract was the sale of 144 Center Consoles to the Mexican government in 1999. In the following years, several professional fishermen won fishing tournaments in Pro-Line Boats

Pro-Line’s award-winning Design Team is professionally trained in Maritime Studies and Engineering, using the latest equipment to design a fleet of boats ranging from 20 to 35 feet.
