Captain Paul Spencer founded Spencer Yachts in 1996 when he decided to try his hand at boat building. Paul was on a mission to build a boat with functional necessities and style. He worked with pioneers in the “Carolina Style” of boat building, resulting in his legendary brand.

Spencer Yachts is the leading custom yacht builder located on the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Spencer combines the classic Carolina design with top performing speeds and elegant interiors to create seaworthy custom sportfishing vessels.

Spencer has two manufacturing facilities: Manns Harbor and Wanchese, North Carolina. Hulls are constructed using a cold molding method at the Manns Harbor facility and then shipped to the Wanchese facility for completion, where there is an in-house paint shop, a metal machine shop, and a carpenter’s shop.

With the goal to make fishing dreams come true, Spencer Yachts builds custom sportfishing yachts of any size or finish. Spencer Marine, a full-service boatyard, services custom and production boats and is a one-stop shop for owners of Spencer fishing boats.
