Albin Marine Cruisers
Albin Marine began as a diesel engine and boat manufacturer prior to expanding its production to sail and motorboats, diesel-powered yachts, and offshore trawlers. With more than 115 years in the marine field and a global presence, Albin Marine is dubbed the Fishing Machine for the Cruising Family and noted for its seaworthy vessels. Designed in the North Sea traditionally, Albin Trawlers are known to withstand the toughest water.
About Albin Yachts
Albin Marine was founded in Sweden in 1899 as a marine diesel engine and boat manufacturer. Successor to Albin Motor, Albin Marine entered the U.S. market in 1966 and become recognized worldwide manufacturing products in Sweden, the United States, and Taiwan. Fred Peters has been the President of Albin Marine since the company’s emergence into the U.S. market. In 1981, Volvo Penta acquired the marine engine division. Albin builds DownEast cruising and fishing boats in their 147,000-sqaure foot facility located in Portsmouth, RI. Albin Trawlers are diesel powered and designed in the North Sea tradition to withstand the roughest waters. From their classic yachts, the North Sea sail and motor boats produced in Sweden, to offshore Trawlers produced in Taiwan, all Albin boats are seaworthy vessels powered by reputable engines. Known as the "Fishing Machine for the Cruising Family," Albin Marine has sold over 5,000 Albin 25 Family Curisers. With over 115 years in the marine field, Albin caters to cruising families and avid sports fisherman alike with their fleet of motor boats and yachts ranging from 28-45 feet.- Year
