With ample and comfortable cockpit and cabin, she is at your service for weekend couple's cruising or at impulse anytime. She sleeps two in the V berth. Carrying a very manageable sail plan with self tacking boom, she is also a lone sailor's dream. Both traditional sailors and staunch racers are known to affirm the Alerion Express 28's beautiful balance and pleasurable sailing.
Fin keel, spade rudder, easily handled sailplan and Yanmar diesel affords reliable power, seakeeping and stability.
| Accommodations The interior of the boat is in excellent conditon. There is a large V-berth forward that can sleep two and a long settee on the port side of the cabin that can be another berth. There is a new Marine head under the V-berth. Overhead hatch above the V-berth provides plenty of ventilation and natural light. On the starboard side of the cabin is a stainless steel sink with freshwater pump, a seat and then a chart table with storage under. There is an Igloo cooler with a teak and holly lid that is strapped in place to serve as a step to the companionway and doubles as a seat for the chart table. Engine access is excellent. Teak and holly sole in the cabin is in top condition. Dark blue cushions throughout the interior are in like new condition. Complete set of white vinyl cockpit cushions are stored in the V-berth and look like new. Cockpit has plenty of room for a crowd, storage compartments, lazarette and beautifully varnish teak cockpit coaming. |
