The extended hard enclosure of the Pilot 30 Sedan offers all-weather protection from the elements and increases full-time useable space on the bridge deck. An aft drop-curtain is standard with this option.

The Mainship 30 Pilot Sedan is a hardtop version of the popular Mainship 30 Pilot. The big difference, of course, is the Sedan’s semi-enclosed helm and bridge deck. Built on a solid fiberglass, semi-displacement hull with a prop-protecting skeg, the Pilot is suited to a variety of uses. A large cockpit makes her a competent fish or dive platform, and her economical operation and comfortable accommodations appeal to weekend cruisers.

The cabin was originally arranged with a V-berth/dinette forward, a good-sized head, and a teak-and-holly cabin sole. In 2003, the updated Series II Pilot featured a new cherry interior and a revised cabin layout with a V-berth that folds in half when not in use. (Note that the Series II also incorporates a shortened keel, propeller tunnel, and a five-blade prop.) Series II models with a 315hp Yanmar cruise at a steady 18 knots and reaches a top speed in the low 20s
