31' Bertram 1973

1973 31 Bertram with an open bulkhead was totally refitted in 2002. During her refit she was brought down her stringers. She was re powered with a pair of Cummins 600hp 6BTA 5.9--M3. She has a fast cruise of 24 knots cruise burning roughly 18 gallons an hour. She tops out at 33 knots. A recent survey in 2018 was completed.

Accommodations

V- berth sleeps two followed by a convertible dinette aft to port which also sleeps two for a total of four berths. Opposite the dinette is a small galley area with molded in fiberglass sink and refrigerator.

Additional Information

This 31 Bertram was totally restored by Dog River Marina in 2002 with New Cummins 6BTA5.9-M3 engines.   With literally an open checkbook policy she was stripped down to the stringers and the work began. Major refit included: gutted to the stringers, new engines, gears, shafts, propellers, generator, wiring, everything new. Kitchen with high glass teak, counter tops, paint, tower.  All new VDO engine gauges 2017.  Prop tunnel allows for shallow water.
