Lady Z is a one owner yacht that the buyer commissioned in 2018. She has been lovingly taken care of by her very knowledgeable yachtsman. Lift kept out of water in a covered slip since new and she shows it!
The seller took me for a sea trial on her a couple of weekends ago and I was very impressed with how sea kind she performed in 2'-3' sea conditions. Very dry running and smooth as a baby with no spray or pounding. Her performance was incredible with her single engine diesel sipping the fuel at a nice cruise of 18 to 20 knots burning around 15 gallons per hour. The really awesome part was how she reacted in wind and current at the dock. She was very tame and predictable with the bow and stern thrusters for extra love backing into the slip with great ease.
Take a look at her bottom, in the pictures, Legacy hit this hull out of the park! The right amount of degree of "V" in the bottom up front and then she softens aft for a very smooth ride in choppy water. This Lady, feels like a much larger vessel, the way that she presents herself to the sea and handles around the dock.
We docked up after our water trial, at a local waterfront cafe for a little lunch and several people got up from separate tables, just to offer a hand with our lines. I think they just wanted a closer look at the "Legacy" and for the next hour, they were on board for the tour and compliments of her condition and the old school workmanship present everywhere. After lunch when re- boarded, more of the same drill, extra dock hands smiling and admiring the Legacy. Forget about sneaking into any Cafe without boaters trying to help out to catch an up close peak!
I was very impressed with this Legacy on many levels, Her prop, rudder are all protected by her keel if you are in shallow water. All of her Deck Bright Work is over built, Air conditioned and heated Helm, Excellent visibility from any seat, Warranty and so much more...
