Long Beach, CA, US

Previously Asking $26,500

Off Market

Description

Hurrah is a familiar boat in the Southern California racing community, she is the only Choate 40 still racing the United States. She is race ready with a very competitive sail inventory (over 30K spent in the last 3 years). Hurrah has a competitive SoCal PHRF rating of 81/84/81. The Choate 40 was one of the most iconic racing yachts of the IOR era, and she is ready to race or cruise tomorrow.

Hurrah is fresh out of the shipyard with new bottom paint, deck nonskid, and other work/upgrades.

NEW Rod Rigging by Sea Tec. ($10K)     Her deck layout, winches and running rigging makes her very crew friendly for racing with a full crew. She is also a very easy boat to sail singlehanded and has competed in many singlehanded races. Hurrah's interior and cockpit are also very comfortable for family Catalina cruises.
