The Bayliner 4788 Pilothouse MY is a restyled and
lengthened version of the very popular 4550/4588 Pilothouse
MY that Bayliner produced from 1984–93.
Bayliner designers reversed the radar arch on the 4788 PH/MY and softened the flybridge profile for a sleeker and more modern appearance. Inside, the superb pilothouse floor plan of the original 4788 is a solid winner.
The L-shaped lounge was moved to starboard in the salon, and the increased hull length of the 4788 can be seen in the enlarged galley and salon dimensions.
The guest stateroom is fitted with double berth, and the master stateroom—has a settee with hinged upper and lower berths. Visibility from the raised pilothouse is excellent. The cockpit is sheltered from the sun by a bridge overhang, and the side decks are wide enough for safe and secure fore-deck passage. Cummins diesels will cruise at 20–21 knots.

Comfort aboard the Bayliner 4788 Pilot House Motor Yacht begins with its superior ride and handling.
The hull's fine forefoot gracefully broadens to a hard-chine modified V-bottom to provide a smooth ride and sharp turns. Twin Cummins diesel inboards deliver quiet, assured power and efficient all-day cruising.
Exterior decks allow ease of movement and plentiful lounge seating while the spacious cockpit provides access to a large boarding platform aft.
There is enough space for a tender up to eleven-feet in length.
The 4788's styling combines traditional ambiance and a dramatic contemporary line. Attention to detail and premium materials throughout - warm polished wood paneling and trim, solid-surface countertops, and wear-dated interior carpet complete an environment of luxury and lasting appeal.
The main salon offers plenty of room for entertaining and has easy access to the pilot house. The lavishly appointed owner's stateroom ensures complete comfort.
A salon entertainment cabinet and wet bar provide focus for social gatherings.
The home-style electric galley offers full sized appliances and countertops. The main salon affords a sweeping view from the ergonomically designed L-lounge complete with cocktail table.
The 4788 includes a fully-equipped pilot house, and the privacy of two separate and gracious staterooms.
