53' Hatteras 1981

The current owner, a retired American executive living in Asia searched for years to locate a Hatteras 53 that was original. Once purchased, he commissioned a complete refit from the rudders to the antennas, lasting more than a year updating all mechanical, electrical, entertainment and interior fixtures/furnishings.

• All walls are teak paneled and finished in high gloss varnish.
• All headliners have been replaced and low-voltage lights installed throughout
• The galley was replaced with German stainless steel cabinets, Gagenau, Frankee, Sub Zero and Miele appliances and feature stone countertops.

Step aboard and walk into the beautifully appointed salon. Professionally decorated with custom window covers, new carpet, custom furniture, new headliner, high glossed varnished teak interior, a reflective ceiling with custom lighting, surround sound for the stereo and television altogether to create a feeling of being pampered in comfortable elegance. The functional lower helm blends into the furniture to become part of the artwork.

Walk through the salon to the enclosed aft deck and stair case to the bridge. The aft deck seating has a custom teak table and chairs, and wet bar for entertaining, but the view is the best part.

Forward of the salon step down to the magnificent custom galley and dinette. This galley is a chefs dream with a professional oven, Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer, double stainless steel sink, Miele Dishwasher, and a beautifully finished dinette.  

Forward of the dinette is the guest cabin or crew quarters with 2 bunk beds, head and shower, and nicely placed Miele washer, and dryer. 

Walk down the hallway past the engine rooms to port and starboard and find the VIP Guest room, with a head, and shower. 

And furthest aft taking the full beam of the boat is the comfortable master cabin, head, and shower. The master cabin has large hanging closet, vanity and seating area. 

Keeping with the vessels "comfortable elegance theme. Throughout the boat are new headliner, high gloss varnish, and custom lighting 

The flybridge is like no other. It has been modified to create one large entertaining and seating area behind the driver. Aft of the seating area is the dinghy and dinghy davit.
