Limited production: Marine Trader the Parent company made only a handful of the Full Displacement Hull, "Med Yacht 62's", exported around the world from Taiwan and into the US in the late 80's during the yacht luxury tax debacle.

Motor Yacht - Walk Through


Board from either side or from the stern via Marquip movable boarding ladder. Enter yacht from either Pilot doors P&S or from the french doors off the aft deck. Entering from the pilot house you step into a rather large wheel house with a nice assortment of electronics to travel the world and a large Pilot Bench seat/day berth, on the rear Pilot House bulkhead. 

Walking aft past the Gourmet Galley and into the grand Salon area passing the Day head to starboard, the salon is very spacious and open with lots of big windows for awesome views around the yacht and plenty of seating for all.

Step out of the salon aft through the French Doors to another great open aired covered Aft Deck sitting area with access to the swim platform. This area is protected by separate P&S lockable Wing Doors to block out the elements on the the aft deck. 

Moving forward past the Pilot House is the VIP en suite Stateroom with plenty of extra storage for months at a time. This is a very spacious well laid out VIP. Access to the two P&S extra guest stateroom accommodations. The aft large king master en suite stateroom accessed is from the salon area, down the stair companionway. The master stateroom is isolated astern from the rest of the staterooms. Also located at the base of the stairs is the entrance to a well laid out spacious engine room.

Bridge access is from the Pilot House companionway bridge steps. The Flybridge deck has a upgraded Hardtop with excellent visibility and seating around the yacht. Aft of the bridge helm seating is a very large area, to do just about anything you want with this wide open space, Excellent for entertaining 30+ guests at one time. Aft bridge deck ladder is accessible at the bridge stern area leading down to the aft deck area.

Bow access is through the Pilot House doors up to the Portuguese bow seating area and anchor deck. Plenty of extra storage and seating are for cruising.

Oversized hand railings, huge bow pulpit with several anchor options, all ready to deploy and a over sized IDEAL Capstan 12V Windlass to deploy any size anchor system on board. Ground tackle is also oversized for secure anchoring in overnight anchorages.

Second Walk-through


Black Horse is a very presentable 1989 62’ Marine Trader Med Yacht International motor yacht with teak decking, stainless steel portholes, an amazingly clean and organized Engine room, a custom hardtop over her Flybridge and a four cabin and four head layout. Exterior black shear strip and canvas curtains enhance the varnished teak trim. The Black Horse offers great interior livability and 4 separate outdoor spaces.

Starting forward is the Foredeck with a bow seat with removable cushions, and port and
starboard sliding doors to enter the Pilot House. The complete Pilothouse is followed by a full galley to port, a day head to starboard, and a large full beam fully furnished salon with a six/eight place dining table and a cocktail bar.

Aft of the salon is a line handling deck complete with cabinets, drawers, ice maker and a wet bar. There is a ladder to access the Sun deck and another ladder leads to the swim platform.

The lower deck has 4 cabins and 3 heads; a huge Master Suite with a king size berth and
private head, as well as a guest cabin with a full size berth and full head, and 2 additional guest cabins with an adjoining head and enclosed stand up shower.

Pilothouse


The very functional Pilothouse is entered via port or starboard sliding deck doors. The sole is Teak/Holly. The helm is centerline behind a three panel windshield and two curtained side windows.
Immediately upon entering the Pilot House is an 8 ft Portuguese settee.

Below the settee are two chart drawers, two storage cabinets, and a footrest, which opens for additional storage.

On the port side of the helm is the stairway access with ambient lighting to the guest
accommodations. A stairway to the Flybridge is accessed on the starboard side of the
Pilothouse.

Also in the Pilothouse are AC/DC overhead lights, the 12V main switch panel for shore/
generator power supply and the 12V electrical supply panels.

Just aft of the Pilothouse, main salon deck, starboard side, is a day head with a sink and storage vanity, large mirror, fresh water flush toilet, and a sliding screened window.

On the starboard side of the Salon is a built-in bar with an enclosed cabinet beneath for
storage and a cabinet above, which houses the stereo and CD player. The bar can be closed off by two sliding panels.

Circular Stairway To 3 Guest Ensuite Staterooms


Guest Stateroom access carpeted stairs down from the port side of the Pilothouse are the lower deck, guest accommodations and a large provisions storage looker. 

At the landing at the bottom of the companionway are two full-length mirrors and a forward “V” berth cabin with a private head.

Across from the mirrors is an enclosed full-length provisions storage cabinet with built-in shelves.

Forward Vip Ensuite Guest Stateroom


The large VIP stateroom consists of ample countertop space on both sides of the full-size berth. A three quarter height hanging locker, two small lockers, a large Corian vanity countertop with a mirrored
cabinet and drawer, a smoke detector, stereo speaker, and its own thermostatic A/C control.

At the foot of the full-size berth, there are 2 storage drawers. The cabin has 4 portholes covered with curtains and a foredeck access hatch. The room is carpeted throughout except for the head, which has a Teak/Holly floor.

The private head consists of a tub/shower with a hand held wall-mounted fixture and waterproof shower curtain, a storage cabinet in the tub/shower area, a vanity with Corian countertop, sink, and cabinet, an additional small cabinet with 2 sliding doors and a shelf above it, a mirrored medicine cabinet, Lexscan toilet, towel rack, and an opening porthole for ventilation.

Lots of extra storage space in this cabin.

At the forepeak area, there is a storage locker for 300 ft of nylon anchor line and a chain locker below.

Starboard Ensuite Guest Cabin


The Starboard cabin consists of two single berths with a table between, a drawer beneath one berth, and a small locker beneath the table. There is also a single light sconce above each berth. This cabin has a half hanging locker, a curtained porthole, and a large mirror on the aft bulkhead. The room also has its own thermostatic air conditioning control unit.

There is a desk with a drawer, a mirror, and an overhead light as well as a stereo speaker and AC/DC overhead room lighting.

The 2 single berths can be conveniently converted into a full-size berth.

Between the Starboard and Port Cabins is the head with an enclosed stand up shower, a handheld mounted fixture and soap holder, a mirrored vanity with door closure covering a
small storage area, a sink with cabinet beneath, a towel rack, and overhead AC/DC lighting.

Port Ensuite Guest Cabin


The Port cabin consists of a full-size berth with a padded headboard, a storage drawer beneath and 2 light sconces, a half height hanging locker, a mirrored vanity with a drawer and overhead light.

There is also a stereo speaker, AC/DC overhead room lighting, ambient lighting around
the base of the berth, and a curtained porthole.

There is also thermostatic control for the air conditioning unit.

Between the Starboard and Port Cabins is the head with an enclosed stand up shower, a
handheld mounted fixture and soap holder, a mirrored vanity with door closure covering a small storage area, a sink with cabinet beneath, a towel rack, and overhead AC/DC lighting.

Master Ensuite Cabin, Full Beam Aft


Accessing from a carpeted stairway on the starboard side of the Salon is the Master Suite. This carpeted suite features a King size berth, a full-length hanging locker, a half height locker, a small desk area, a lighted, mirrored vanity, and a private head.

This large cabin is surrounded on both sides by ample drawers, lockers, and curtained
portholes. The full-length hanging locker is cedar lined.

To port and starboard of the berth are single shelf nightstands, each with an enclosed cabinet and a lamp.

The kingsize berth has sconce lighting above the headboard and ambient lighting around the base. The small desk area has a drawer, a shelf, and separate lighting. A TV hangs above the desk. Next to the desk is a full-length mirror. The vanity direct lighting as well as ambient lighting and additional storage areas accessed by sliding panels. The top of the vanity can be securely raised to expose a mirror. There is a stool tucked under the vanity for seating.

The cabin has 2 stereo speakers, AC/DC overhead lighting, and thermostatic air conditioning control.

Master Head


This private head with teak/holly flooring has a molded tub/shower with a handheld wall mounted shower fixture and shelf for toiletries as well as a curtained porthole. The shower is enclosed by a waterproof shower curtain.

There is a large lighted, mirror above the sink vanity and a mirrored medicine cabinet on the starboard wall. The vanity has a drawer and an enclosed storage area.

The toilet is an electric head with a Lexscan treatment unit to reduce waste and odors.
