102' Oceanfast 1989 HIGHLINE

Fort Lauderdale, FL, US

Previously Asking $1,899,000

Description

Highline was designed by world renowned naval architect Jon Bannenberg, a legend in super yacht design. Almost always stretching the boundaries of yacht design, Bannenberg developed admirers worldwide immediately upon his first masterpiece coming to life in 1968. His collection spans nearly 200 yachts ranging in size up to Larry Ellison's 138 metre Rising Sun.

Highline was built to Australian Maritime Safety Authority standards at the Oceanfast shipyard in Henderson, Western Australia. This 31 metre, 102' Oceanfast was built for speed, and made for pleasure. Well ahead of her time in so many aspects mentioned herein, Highline still demands the attention of yachtsmen, luxury performance enthusiasts, and passerby's alike. Her sharp lines are so aggressive, you almost fail to notice her raised pilothouse on first glance. This exterior style gives a nod to Italian express yachts, as she far surpasses that competition in terms of interior volume. Two twelve cylinder MTU 12V2000 series main engines that were installed new in 2006, produce an astounding 1800 horsepower each. Her Rolls Royce KaMeWa water jets create a massive rooster tail at an exhilarating 27 knot top end.

Just wait, we haven't introduced you to her stylish interior yet.

Thrill seekers beware, you may have just met your match, and Highline is willing to prove it.

Galley

Galley is located forward amidships below deck. Full beam and well appointed, this galley is very large for this size vessel. There is a GE Electric five burner glass cooktop and oven, a Samsung microwave, two SubZero refrigerators, a SubZero freezer, a GE Profile fridge/freezer, Compactall waste compactor, GE dishwasher, Frigidaire washer, Frigidaire dryer, and a Ruud hot water heater located in this large space. Under foot the flooring in this area is high gloss teak and holly. To port and moving forward, there is a large amount of dry storage on the outboard side of a hallway that leads to the crew quarters.

Salon

The salon is easily accessed from both port and starboard doorways. On both sides of each entryway there are dramatic floor to ceiling windows bringing exterior views into the climate controlled indoors. Between the entry doors there is a U-shaped bar. Four bar stools face aft and offer a breathtaking vantage point. The bar is equipped with refrigerator, sink, storage, and a large modern television. The interior is timeless, and in mint condition. Light and airy, soft whites are accented in a beautiful chroma crystal blue. A color combination that has been recently repopularized by Lincoln's Black Label Yacht Club edition. To port, there is a large u-shaped settee, accented by two large easy chairs, perfectly conducive for conversation while entertaining a small party. On the bulkhead there is a large flat screen television. To starboard, you will find an intimate dinette with loose chairs, a perfect location to start your day under a picturesque window. There is a companionway forward on the starboard side with a high gloss teak and holly sole.

Main Deck Lobby

Forward of the salon on the starboard side of the vessel, you first come to a conveniently located day head. On the outboard side of this companionway you will find storage for dish and glassware under large windows.

Formal Dining

The formal dining room is located amidship on the main deck. Seating for six is at a round table in an octagon shaped room, under a skylight adding an astrological element to your dining experience. There is even a dumb waiter adjacent to streamline your service from the galley below. To starboard you will find a watertight entry door yielding access to the foredeck.

On Deck Master

Forward on the main deck you arrive at your owners suite. There is something to be said about an owners suite on the main deck. It keeps you close to the action, but offers you the adequate privacy and solitude you desire when you're ready to retire for the evening, but wish not to venture downstairs. Let's face it, you've had a fun filled day in the sun. This master cabin grants you all the comforts you expect in a super yacht from any era. A center lined King is accented by built in night stands, and a port side makeup vanity. This cabin is light with velvet accents. The master cabin ensuite offers a completely innovative solution to knocking out your morning exercise routine. Simply remove the high gloss teak and holly sole to reveal a Precor treadmill facing a picturesque window.

Guest Accommodations

On either side of the formal dining room entry, there are two spiral staircases leading below deck. The forward leads to the galley. Let's take the aft staircase to the guest accommodations. At the foot of the stairs you come to the entry doors for the port and starboard guest cabins. Mirroring staterooms offer twin configurations with natural lighting, light decor, and well appointed ensuites.

Flybridge

The flybridge on this yacht has so much to offer that it feels more like a sundeck on a much larger yacht. When the weather permits, this is where you will gather with your closest to enjoy the elements of your surroundings. Forward, your captain has redundant navigation equipment as found below in the pilothouse. There is a refrigerator, an ice maker, a jennaire grill, a large dinette, and an expansive hot tub. Because the salon is so far aft on this vessel, this flybridge dinette becomes your primary alfresco dining. A massive umbrella provides shade in this area. Once covered, the hot tub becomes a large sun lounger. The days go by too fast with an atmosphere as well appointed as this flybridge.

Pilothouse

The raised pilothouse offers three points of entry. Mainly from the main deck lobby to starboard. Secondly, from the port side watertight entry door from the side deck. And lastly, there is direct access to the flybridge. It is the opinion of the listing agent that some key elements of the navigational equipment stand to be updated.
