The Cobia 344 was launched as the flagship of the Cobia line and in every way this vessel was designed, built and equipped to show this manufacturer was capable of competing with the best of the best in the marketplace. The double-stepped-hulled 344CC center-console boasts such fishing-friendly features as level decks and twin 41-gallon livewells along with two in-floor fish boxes that are macerated to pump overboard. Rods store horizontally within the lockable console or topside in horizontal racks, in addition to vertical racks on the legs of the outrigger equipped hardtop...just a few of the many top-quality options that this particular 344 features. An attached link to Boating Magazines review of the 344 will document her economical cruising fuel consumption at 31 mph as well as her thrilling 66 mph top speed when powered by with triple 300 HP Yamaha's on this beautiful vessel.
Other unique features include a standard bow table that electronically adjusts to create a huge sun lounge area or can be fully recessed into the floor for full bow access. An inward opening side door makes dockside and dive boarding or the landing of large game fish easy and hassle free. The bilge and transom filters and other mechanical systems are accessed through a large door supporting the hideaway transom bench seating that opens on demand via a heavy-duty electric ram.
As with the rest of this 344 CC, the helm area is the perfect fusion of form and function. Independent convertible bolsters are spaced between an armrest console that has drink holders and a pocket contents box. The triple 300's are connected to Yamaha's Command link upgrade display and Optimus electric power steering. The helm is enhanced with the optional master command suite that includes a "glass cockpit" with twin 16" Garmin XSV units, Garmin HD open array radar, and Garmin auto-pilot. Optimus joystick control and integrated Fusion stereo with (2) Amps, (2) subwoofers and (8) 6" speakers continue the open checkbook approach that is featured throughout this vessel.
A huge fully lit console houses a head, freshwater sink and day bed along with large amounts of storage and access to the breakers and battery switches along with panels giving full thoughtful access to helm wiring and components all of which exhibit the same extraordinary level of design and installation that is traditionally found only on the very best of custom-built yachts.
For local buyers she is housed in a transferable rack in one of the area's most popular marinas with an on-site restaurant. Please see the over 170 photos and a 16 minute HD video to truly appreciate this wonderful Cobia.
