Overview

SeaV2 Hull Design. Simply put, this design is an industry leader. The SeaV2 hull design is one of the main contributing factors to Grady-White’s countless awards, including ranking #1 for customer satisfaction in all of JD Power & Associates eight marine studies. The SeaV2 is a “continuously variable vee” hull that provides a softer, more stable ride. The unique hull form and variable deadrise have tremendous righting force, giving the boat superior tracking in quartering or following seas.

Full Below-Deck Space. The Express 370 has two berths, stocked galley, full head with walk-in shower, as well as dining space, storage, air conditioning, and entertainment platforms—all standard.

Fishing Amenities Galore. Along the transom is the 370’s 291-qt. (275.4 l) aft refrigerator/freezer fish box with digitally controlled thermostat. Behind the helm seat is a full column distribution 48-qt. (45.4l) livewell with an accessory switch panel above. The 3 rockers switches control the livewell, raw water washdown, and spreader lights (likely the three components you’ll need quick access to while fishing).

Transom

This Express 370 comes Powered with triple 425 Yamaha four-strokes with only 98 original Hours. A telescoping reboarding ladder is molded into deck space and is to the starboard side, right in line with the transom walk-through door also to starboard. The inside edge of the solid transom door has a plush bolster, which extends from the bolster on the gunwales in the cockpit. The robust door is made of fiberglass and has a stainless steel latch just under the bolster.

Along the transom is the Express 370’s aft fishbox. It is a refrigerator/ freezer fish box that has a digitally controlled thermostat, lights, and drains overboard. On the starboard side of the transom is a freshwater shower with a hot/cold temperature control knob and a stainless steel cupholder. Dockside power access is below on the transom bulkhead.

On the portside end of the transom is a fixed cutting board above removable storage bin with that reveals the two batteries banks with four batteries total.

Cockpit

The cockpit is a largely open space with one non-intrusive seating bench (that can be folded up and out of the way), and nothing but small fishing-focused amenities to come between a guest and the hunt. Access to the seacock levers and the standard 8 kW generator are found aft and below the bench. To port and starboard on the aft end of the cockpit are dedicated rod storage racks, three to a side, with bolsters above and toe rails below. Along the top of the gunwales are stainless steel rod holders, two to each side.

As mentioned, there is seating -- a bench perfect for a space intended for fishing. The bench easily folds down when needed, and out of the way when everyone’s on their toes.

The decks are non-skid surface, with the remainder of the surfaces molded-in fiberglass. To starboard forward the rod storage is a rigging station, comfortably removed from the main fishing “pit” in the Express 370, but easy to reach when needed. The rigging station has a freshwater sink with pullout faucet and 48 gallon (181.7 L) livewell under latched lids. Beneath the insulted boxes are two hinged storage compartments one with four removable tackle trays and the other a fishing tools holder (knife, pliers, etc.) both are lockable. The livewell has a full column distribution inlet, a light, and (like all other insulated boxes on this Grady-White) an overboard drain.

To port is a standard 1300 W grill, also under a latched lid and above further storage behind a latched door on the bulkhead.

Between these two port and starboard stations are molded-in fiberglass steps up to the helm section under the hardtop. To the outside edge of the port and starboard stations are two additional small steps, which give access to the side decks leading to the bow.

Helm

Cockpit/ Helm Divide Design. The Express 370 has an interesting design moving from the cockpit to the helm—the cockpit acts primarily as a fishing space, with a spare, open design surrounded by fishing amenities. Moving forward toward the helm is up two fiberglass steps, under the boat’s standard hardtop.

Here the helm and dash sit in the center, with seating both to port and starboard. This space is notably more focused on relaxation and entertainment, in contrast to the aft part of the cockpit’s spartan fishing-friendly environment.

To port is lounge seating—high quality upholstery, forward-facing with storage underneath. The backrest wraps around to the bulkhead for greater range of movement and comfort. Cup holders are in the bulkhead nook, just above a small netted storage cubby.

To starboard is a versatile seating space, with a double-wide forward facing bench seat facing an aft-facing single seat. In between, on the bulkhead, is a fold-away table with cup holders molded-in that can lower and support a filler cushion that can turn the seating into a U-shaped lounge. More storage comes via drawers below the forward-facing seat.

The Helm. The helm seat is Deluxe Platinum, with flip-up bolster, adjustable arm rests, and a horizontally and vertically adjustable stainless steel pedestal. The steering wheel on the Express 370 is heavy-duty 316 grade stainless steel, and sits on the front panel of the dash, just to port of the push button ignition and electronic throttle controls.

The dash has a flat panel with the rocker switches and stainless steel cupholder, just ahead of the electromechanically operated electronics enclosure, which is a panel hidden behind the dash until needed.

Grady-White includes the Yamaha Helm Master as standard on the Express 370.

Captain Grady. One of Grady-White’s big innovations is their Captain Grady system, which works on either an iPad or iPhone as an app, as well as provide operations guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting.

The helm has a fiberglass footrest below the dash, with a lid on the top that lifts to reveal further storage. Forward on the dash on the starboard side is a nice chart storage bin, with a lucite lid on hinges.

Hardtop

The Grady-White AV2 style hardtop comes standard on the Express 370. The AV2 hardtop comes as a painted aluminum frame with electronically sliding sunroof with screen and shade, storage net, LED spreader lights, overhead tri-colored (red, white and blue) LED recessed lights, storage and first aid kit compartments, four side mounted rode holders, outrigger plates, SureShade electrically retractable shade with Sunbrella canvas, Clear2Sea side curtains and drop shades.

The windshield is heavy-duty welded aluminum with tempered-glass and an electromechanically operated center vent panel. The windshield has wipers with heavy-duty pantograph arms and separate controls for all three, as well as three freshwater windshield washers.

Below Deck

Access to the lower deck is on the port side of the helm section, down three steps with non-skid surface. The lower deck has a teak and holly sole.

Galley. Immediately to port upon entry is the ship’s galley. The galley on the Express 370 has a sink and faucet, Corian countertop, cutting board, Kenyon electric glass stovetop, and storage cabinets above. The wood cabinet panel has two sliding wood doors, as well as a stereo control panel and a microwave. Below the microwave in the bulkhead are a refrigerator and freezer via stainless steel drawers. The freezer comes with a built-in icemaker.

Secluded Berth. Immediately starboard of the access steps and moving aft is the first of the 370’s two berths. Accessed from a step-down and duck, it is nestled with low overhead away from the “action” in the lower deck. It has a mirror on the aft end, rod storage overhead, and storage cubbies in the bulkheads. The berth itself takes up the entire space.

The Head. Back up and outside the berth, further starboard, is the head. The head is behind a solid door with stainless steel handle and a full-size mirror on the inside. The head is ventilated, and has a sink with Corian countertop, a full shower, mirror doors on a storage cabinet, two cherry wood shelves above the head, and a VacuFlush marine head with an 18 gallon (68 L) holding tank.

Dining Section. Back outside the head, the starboard side of the lower deck is occupied by a large dining section. The premium vinyl-upholstered U-shaped seating space wraps around a high-gloss cherry wood table with an adjustable stainless steel pedestal. Just above the dining section are further wood cabinets in the same style as the galley on the port side—sliding wood doors with stainless steel handles. The table can adjust down, with a filler cushion added to convert this space to a third berth.

Forward Berth. The forward end of the lower deck is the v-berth, elevated above the level of the dining space. The berth has a mattress that can easily lift up to reveal storage cubbies. Further, the space between the refrigerator to port and starboard dining section starboard is storage in the form of cherry wood drawers.

Overhead in the forward berth are two opening portlight hatches, and leading into the berth is a stylish piece of etched glass installed in the wood bulkhead.

Entertainment. The lower deck comes standard with a 28” LED-LCD HDTV with a built-in DVD player. Further, it comes standard with a stereo system complete with AM/FM radio, MP3 audio connections, Bluetooth, remote control with speakers in the cabin (2), hardtop(2), and in the cockpit(2).

Bow

Moving up via the side decks on the Express 370 with help from the heavy-duty 316 grade stainless steel guiderails. The forepeak has a stainless steel windlass, which feeds the bow pulpit, which has a roller. Windlass foot controls are to port, with anchor rode storage locker under a hatch to starboard. Further windlass controls come at the helm.
