Upgrades and Maintenance
Approaching this vessel you will immediately notice the shine that she radiates and her newer bridge enclosure. As you board her you will find ample space on the swim platform along with a collapsible swim ladder, a covered “run” for the shore cord to pass through when hooked up, and 2 transom storage lockers. Looking to either side there are fresh water flush ports and JL audio speakers.
Entering into the cockpit area through the fiberglass door you will be met with a bench seat with storage to aft, many speakers, sliding glass doors that lead to the salon, and molded fiberglass stairs that lead to the flybridge or to the engine room when lifted.
As you continue through the sliding doors you will be greeted by a clean crisp salon. There are 2 individual chairs with storage in them to port and a couch with 2 loungers built in to starboard. In the port side aft corner there is a cabinet and the TV is mounted here as well. Continuing through the dinette is on the starboards side, slightly elevated above the salon for separation and the galley to port with a single step down. The galley has 4 drawers, an under sink cabinet, and 3 storage areas in the backsplash area. The Corian counter tops are light in color and complement the cherry interior warmly. The refrigerator is found mounted under the cabinet with a small freezer to its left with the new microwave mounted above it. Stepping down one more time you turn back to your right and find the VIP Stateroom. This is a generous midship space with an island queen bed and hanging locker. Next you will find the guest head that is accessible from the VIP or the companionway. Next you enter the Forward Primary stateroom with its ensuite head and sink to port and a separate shower and sink to starboard. She also features an island queen and hanging lockers on each side of the room.
As you exit back out of the cabin through the sliding doors you can take a left and head up to the bridge via the molded fiberglass stairs. As you crest the top of the stairs you are met with a wet bar with a small sink to port and a small fridge to starboard. In front of the bar you will find the helm with a single captains chair to starboard and a small companions bench to port. Aft of the bar there is a large curved seating area. 6 of the isinglass panels will unzip to open to allow the breeze to flow through the bridge. There is a door that can be closed over the stairs to isolate the bridge for noise reduction and/or safety.
The helm is well laid out with the new Garmin 8612 to the port of the steering wheel, next to it is the original Northstar autopilot, directly above the steering wheel are your digital engine monitoring screens. On the left side you will find your start/stop buttons and spotlight control. On the Right side there are trim tab controls, fuel transfer and windlass controls. Further to the right you will find the electronic shifters just before the bow and stern thruster controls. To the far right you will find the switches for the bilge pumps, lights, and electronics.
To access the the bow there are catwalks down each side of the boat. On the bow you will find bow cushions for soaking up the sun, 4 fenders in rail mount holders, a LED spotlight, and a new windlass. On the brow you will notice the JL audio “tower” speakers and air horns.
On the radar arch there is a closed array radar, 2 TV3 domes (one is just for looks), mast light, and the starlink antennae.
The well lit engine room is conveniently located with access below the bridge stairs. There are 2 QSB5.9 Cummins that are the center of attention with the new Onan generator to the aft. She has a fire suppression system for added peace of mind should the unthinkable happen. The Reverso Oil changer is connected to both engines and the generator of easy maintenance. She has dripless shaft seals that help keep the bilge clean and dry.
