The 57 foot solid steel hull has weathered multiple storms, and takes rough weather quite well for its small size. The Don Larson is capable of staying out at sea for over a month at a time.This boat was formerly known as the Medallion and was used to fish salmon as well as tuna. It has been known to be a good catcher, an important detail in salmon and tuna fishing; needless to say, it has no problems catching fish.Powered by a 6-71 Diesel Engine with 200 hp and 4,000 gallon fuel capacity that makes the long trips easy. Equipped with a Tonanco 35 kW Isuzu 4BG1 and a 6 kW Yanmar gen sets.
