Special note should be made of the extensive cruising package. This yacht was designed by Jack Sarin, NA, for bluewater cruising with a Portuguese bridge and high side bulwarks, built by Symbol Yachts who have a long history of building bluewater yachts, and custom built for this couple who have had extensive boating background. They had this yacht built as their bluewater cruiser and plenty of time was spent on the design to achieve this. A long list of mechanical options extends your cruising reach. This includes the extra 220-gallon fuel capacity, the water capacity, and the additional holding tank capacity. There is a back up pressure water pump system. It also includes the fuel polishing system, a fuel transfer system, 1,200 gallon-per-day watermaker, water purification system, a Northern Lights 16 kw main generator in sound box, back-up 12 kw second Northern Lights generator in sound box and a Trace 4000 inverter/charger, all upgrades. There is solar power, 1.25kw and all lighting is LED with low consumption as well as cool, and all are on dimmers with low setting as red for night vision. There are also transom underwater lights by Ocean LED’s, again upgrades for this owner.
Not to be forgotten are the upgraded boat handling equipment of the full hydraulic system for 25 hp bow thruster, and 25 hp stern thruster, the hydraulic anchor windlass, and the Wesmar hydraulic stabilizers. Also, the very reliable dual CAT C-15 ACERT 811 hp engine upgrade which allows economical cruising (1 gallon per nautical mile at trawler speeds), and the option of a continuous cruising speed of 17+ knots for when you want or need to get somewhere quickly. The dual Racor fuel filters w/vacuum gauges, fuel polishing system, and Fireboy fire suppression system w/alarm insure trouble free operation with proper operator attention and monitoring. Glendinning Controller remote control allows you to dock the boat from any location.
The owner went one step further and, not totally satisfied with the yachts seakeeping characteristics, he contacted the designer, naval architect Jack Sarin. After several discussions Mr. Sarin designed new rudders for OFFLINE using his original engineering information and the input from the owner and they were installed in the summer of 2010. The result is a boat that, according to the owner, is a dream to run and handle in all sea conditions including a following sea.
The following items are excluded from the sale of OFFLINE.
