This 1972 67 ft Hargrave Motor Yacht is powered by twin 2007 Caterpillar c18 (ckh02644) diesel engines with approximately 1000 hours. This one-of-a-kind yacht is perfect for long range cruising or chartering! There have been several retrofits done on the boat (with major upgrades in 2000, 2007 and 2018) since it was originally launched. In 2007 the main engines and the generators were replaced along with the Dometic air-conditioning systems and other items. The 2007 port Caterpillar generator has 603 hours and the 2007 starboard Caterpillar generator has 1057 hours (last serviced 2018).
The Hargrave company was originally known as the top American yacht design organization starting in 1957 when, under the direction of legendary designer Jack Hargrave, the company played an important role in the success of companies like Hatteras, Burger, Amels, Prairie, Atlantic & Halmatic to name just a few.
The air-conditioned enclosed bridge has a spacious seating area forward of the helm and two comfortable captain's chairs at the helm. Electronics include a new Garmin 12 inch multifunction screen with GPS and radar, autopilot, spotlight, VHF radio, engine gauges, Furuno depthfinder fcv-1100l and a Northstar 6000i GPS and trim tab controls. Above the enclosed flybridge is a tuna tower equipped with a GPS, engine controls and gauges and boats beautiful panoramic views of the sea in all directions.
The spacious salon has a large L shaped settee to port, comfortable arm chairs port and starboard and a large table with more seating that creates a spacious area for entertaining a large group. The flat screen TV is recessed facing aft for watching your favorite shows. Along the starboard side is a long cabinet with storage.
A few steps down is the dining nook and the galley that is equipped with a fridge, oven, stovetop, toaster and microwave, with room for more kitchen appliances.
Heading towards the bow there are three forward cabins, two with bunk beds, and a third with two twin beds side by side. Each cabin has its own head and lots of storage for clothing and personal items. The master cabin is situated aft of the dining nook and has a large king size bed and multiple closets. A powder room is connected to the master along with a separate head and shower room.
The engine room is very clean and spacious and allows easy access to the engines, seven air conditioning systems, water maker, and generators.
