A nicely sized larger salon occupies the mid section of the yacht with a side door to starboard. Teak and Ebony laminate flooring, Large curved settee to port, wood two leaf folding table.
To Starboard and aft is the chart table with a full size chart locker.
The line type galley is to port and just aft of the salon, nicely thought thru as to design.
A delightful aft cabin with a super desirable Queen sized island bed with access to both sides. Large spaces in a 44 foot hull.
The North Atlantic Trawler is a product of serious fishing boats living in cold water and by experience and genetics, have become stronger and more resilient to difficult conditions. A La Vie shares these traits with many of her sister-ships. A number of impressive construction details are also inherent in this vessel.
First, she is of course hand built in female molds along with having Eastman vinyl-ester resin, and a high strength, light weight structural Nida-Core honeycomb core, high-end gelcoat, Awlgrip paint treatment above the water line. What is not so obvious however is her Aluminum framed floor system - no wood to rot, and the cabin soles secure to this.

WINDOWS: Windows are all NOMOR brand and are built stronger for use in heavier seas. Storm covers are still recommended depending on conditions.

The main House bank of batteries consists of four of these batteries. The bow and stern thrusters also have individual banks; the engine and generator also have a bank and electronics have a bank.
A La Vies electrical system is a professionally installed, properly engineered system that over the years has been significantly upgraded for the purpose of making her durable and easy to use. She has four banks of batteries, all Group 31 series AGM batteries offering shorter charging times and longer life cycles.
Impressive engine space beneath the salon with a clean and light presentation. Insulation in engine space makes this yacht exceptionally quiet.
A Single CAT 3126B Caterpillar 3126 with 315hp propels the yacht to 11 knots max speed and 9 knot cruise. 2000 hours.

A solar array is on top of the bimini putting out 12VDC to keep batteries charged and keep the vessel self sufficient. When electricity is used carefully, she can stay on a mooring or at anchor for long periods of time.
Approximately 3 gallons per hour at 7 to 8 knots! This is an average over time. Note this depends on conditions. At 9 to 10 knots the fuel burn is 6-8 gallons per hour.
