ARGO is a Rodriguez Yachtfisher designed by Bray Yacht Design and Research and built by Rodriguez Shipbuilders in Alabama. The yacht was designed and built to be an open water, long range cruising trawler.

Range of ARGO - At cruising RPM of 1,800, she burns 13 Gal (including one genset going) for 8.0 knots/hr.  Drop to 1600 RPM (fishing albacore tuna trolling speed), she runs at 7.0 knots/hr and burns 10 Gal per hour.  (With 4,300 Gal diesel in her tanks, ARGO's range is between 2,600 nm to 3,000 nm.)

Accommodations

The Rodriguez Yachtfisher 65 main salon is accessed via a Dutch style door from the large cockpit. The salon is a combination of light-colored fabrics and teak cabinetry in a satin finish with large windows that bring in abundant natural light. There is a large aft portside sofa, to starboard is the formal dining area with a forward starboard galley and entertainment centre to port. Carpeted floors and handcrafted teak cabinetry finish the space, giving it a warm and inviting feel.

Foredeck

The foredeck is easily accessed from the pilothouse with the port & starboard PH side deck doors or form the aft cockpit thanks to the wide side decks that make moving around the yacht pretty easy. As with the rest of the yacht’s decks, these are a painted non-skid (the yacht was repainted in 2022) and are fairly flat, making moving about safe.  Storage is abundant as well thanks to the large locker that is built-in in front of the pilothouse.
