Price drop makes this great boat even more affordable! A sister-ship 390 with a single engine recently sold for $142,000 in Bellingham.
Dulcita, a Mainship 350 Trawler is an economical low maintenance coastal cruiser with classic trawler lines and a good turn of speed. Considered a "performance trawler" the main ship rides on a semi-displacement hull, capable of higher, cruising speeds than full displacement trawlers. This is powered by twin Volvo Penta 200hp engines that have been very well maintained. We cruise comfortably and very fuel efficient at 8kn and max out at 12kn when in a hurry.Fuel burn per hour at cruising speed (8kn) is around 2.5g per side. The boat is highly fuel-efficient running at 1.5 NM/Gal.
Upon purchase (2018) - $15K in engine overhaul included all new elbows, heat exchangers, raw water pumps, exhaust, belts, filters and fluids (all work done by La Conner Maritime)
"Dulcita" has a northern lights generator, which is in great shape. It has under 700 hours and fires up immediately and has more than enough power for every system on the boat including the heat and AC. We have new Garmin electronics at both the upper and lower stations that moved the vessel away from analog gauges to all electronic gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, RPMs, etc. These same units are also the GPS system. The boat has an auto pilot which works well. It has Blue Sea Systems battery monitoring which is a redundant system to the new charger/inverter (2 years old). It has LED lighting throughout and can be indefinitely off of shore power between low power needs and the generator. Also replaced: the hydraulic steering system including a new ram two years ago, replaced all engine control cables (transmission and power) and redid the interior in the last 6 months (flooring, kitchen, etc.)
Stepping inside from the covered deck, large wrap around windows provide lots of natural lighting in the salon and excellent visibility from the lower helm. Dulcita also has a custom elevated settee in the main salon where you can easily see out the windows while eating. A convertible sofa and a high low table are starboard in the salon and an L shape galley with refrigerator/freezer and Corian counter is forward to Port. A sliding door at the Helm provides easy deck access.
There are two state rooms and a single head forward. The master room has an island queen berth and two hanging lockers, and the guest state room (partially tucked beneath the galley) has a double berth. Molded steps ascend from the deck to the Mainship's large fly bridge. Although this boat was branded as a 350 Trawler, it is actually almost 40' long with the platforms included and was later re branded as a 390 Trawler.
A new RIB dinghy w/ 9.9 HP pushbutton 2023 Mercury Outboard engine is included. A new dinghy davit system is being installed on the swim step.
A full appraisal of Dulcita was made in June 2024 and is available to serious buyers.
Slip sub lease in Bellingham is available for a limited time that is negotiable with the owners. Normally there is a multi-year wait for slips.
