Foxy Boat | 57' Sundeer 1995

"Foxy” is a 1995 Sundeer 56,  hull number 6 of 14. She was designed by Steve and Linda Dashew and built in Rhode Island by TPI Composites of “J” boat fame.

Sundeers are touted to be among the BEST Offshore Cruising vessels and are known for their superior build, long waterline and narrow plumb bow providing a 10.1 knot hull speed. Foxy attracts attention. That few were built contributes to their strong allure.

Foxy’s interior echoes the clean exterior lines with a light, bright salon, large functional galley, nav station, single large head with shower, aft bunk berths, large L-shaped settee with opposing bench seat, and forward Master Stateroom with walkaround Queen.

Sailing Foxy is simplified with all controls led aft for sail trim and management. A Lewmar electric winch is available for hoisting the Main.  Currently Sloop rigged, this yacht has the option of being sailed as a Cutter.

A standup engine room provides access to Main engine, generator and all serviceable pumps easing repair and maintenance.

This boat sailed the East Coast and Caribbean before being shipped to the West Coast in 2015. She has spent the last several years browsing the San Juan Islands, touring British Columbia, and adventuring to glaciers in Alaska. A change in circumstances of health compels this sale.

Foxy has been well cared for and properly maintained. Recent updates include wireless windlass, new pilothouse, the addition of a Dickenson diesel heater, Lavac toilet, Vesper Marine AIS, Victron-controlled solar system, Furuno Radar, NMEA 2000 backbone and much more.

Rounding out this package is a 2022 Achilles Inflatable with 9.9 hp Yamaha outboard.

This boat is currently located at SEA Marine in Port Townsend, WA., only a couple hour’s jaunt if flying into Seattle.
