A great family cruising yacht with accommodations for up to 7 guests in 3 staterooms below amidship, for owner and guests, plus 2 cabins forward for up to 4 crew or additional guests. Her full beam salon offers a generous and comfortable living area, which has been beautifully updated. The galley is open with a large dinette with seating. There are numerous areas to enjoy outdoor space to include the aft deck, cockpit, flybridge and bow.
The raised pilothouse offers built in seating and access to the flybridge which has a bar, additional L-shaped seating, and lots of deck lounging space plus a barbecue. This deck has childproof/pet protection for around the rails.
The cockpit area allows for safe access to the engine room while running and convenient access to the water for diving, swimming, fishing, and watersports.
Westport has been building yachts in the USA since the 1980s, they are a respected shipbuilder that continues to deliver yachts. This factory-built cockpit motoryacht is designed with shallow prop pockets keeping her draft to 5’9”, which is perfect for the East Coast, Gulf Coast, Florida Keys, and the Bahamas. She is a hard-chined, nice-running semi-displacement hull. Westport built the hull and superstructure in 1997, while her finish work was completed at Westbay Sonship in 1998. Under the stewardship of only three caring owners since new, she has received constant care and upgrades that have complimented her original build quality.
Key Features
HARD TIMES is a factory original cockpit motor yacht, built for ease of access to the water through an aft transom door. From the cockpit there are port and starboard molded stairs leading up to the aft deck. The covered aft deck is furnished with aft curved built-in seating, a teak dining table and occasional teak deck chairs. To the starboard corner is a stainless-steel staircase leading up to the boat deck with a hatch closing door.
Entering the salon through glass sliding door is a full beam spacious salon. To starboard is a step-down bar which allows for unobstructed views through her windows while seated anywhere in the salon. To port is an L-shaped sectional sofa. The forward salon bulkhead houses an 82” Translucent mirror TV by Clearview (new in 2021) coupled with the electric blackout blinds creating an amazing theatre experience.
From the salon moving forward on starboard side is a day head and a deck entry door, forward of this is access to the pilothouse, galley and 2 crew cabins forward.
From the salon on the port side is another side deck entry door and stairs leading down to a foyer leading to the owner’s stateroom and 2 guest cabins.
Moving up to the pilothouse there is a raised seating area for viewing while underway, 1 helm seat and electronics. Steps up take you to the flybridge which has a hardtop, 3 helm seats, L shaped seating and a stand-up bar with stools. Aft of that is the davit and space for sunning and tender storage.
The salon is a spacious full beam with a sectional L-shaped sofa to port and built-in bar to starboard. The Amtico wide plank flooring was replaced in 2022, to match the galley.
The Country Galley is accessed from the starboard side, forward, with a large stone countertop work area, a U-shaped country dining area with booth style upholstered seating.

The owner’s stateroom is accessed from the port side, a carpeted staircase leads down to a foyer with a stone top wall mounted console table. The owner’s suite is full beam and amidship with a king size berth. His and her ensuite with adjoining tub/shower.
