HOLLOW POINT is a recently constructed 35-foot Nerowalker Catamaran designed for offshore and inshore fishing. She is constructed of welded aluminum with a multi-step hull and extended brackets for the vessel outboards. She is powered by twin 450-horsepower XTO Offshore Yamaha outboards, ENGINES EXTENDED WARRANTY until June 17, 2029.
The exterior hull is painted forest green with a white boot stripe and black bottom paint. The Interior hull and pilot house are painted white.
The bow area is enclosed with an open platform for casting and the mounting of a Minn Kota trolling motor and spotlight. A portion of the platform lifts allowing for storage of the trolling motor batteries and gear. Aft of the platform steps down to a walkway that encircles the enclosed pilothouse.
The forward end of the pilothouse is a raised platform fitted with two lounge-style vinyl seats. The platform can be lifted and allows access to a 4’x 4’x 3’ storage space or fish hold.
Down each side is a walkway between bulwarks and a pilothouse. The bulwarks are capped with 6” wide flat caps and multiple rod holders. There are also hookups for LED lighting and electric fishing reels. The interior side of the bulwark is fitted with 8” vinyl padding and the exterior is a black rubber rail. Along the deck are hatches allowing access to two storage spaces on each side. There are additional hatches that allow access to fuel tanks, hydraulics, and pumps. The side of the pilot house is fitted with small LED lights and handrails.
Aft of the pilothouse is the stern area enclosed by bulwarks on the side and a live well aft. Additionally, there is a door on the starboard side that allows for accessing the platform that is fitted with the outboard motors and ladder. There are various storage spaces and hatches on the deck allowing access to the bilge pumps and other mechanical components.
The pilot house is enclosed on three (3) sides and open aft. The pilothouse can be accessed via a weathertight door to starboard and from the aft portion of the pilothouse. The pilothouse has a long window down each side, a smaller window, and a sliding window. The forward end of the pilothouse is a full window facing forward. The forward end of the pilothouse is fitted with a full suite of electronics, helm, and Yamaha single-point throttles. On the port side of the console is a hatch allowing access to the electronics and batteries. Aft of the helm are two shock-absorbing chairs and two bench seats with storage below.
The vessel is equipped with both AC and DC electrical systems. Batteries are of the marine type, deep cycle, and mixed cycle. A circuit breaker panel for both AC and DC electrical systems is marked under the navigation console.
Navigation lights comply with USCG Navigation Rules, with no modifications or interferences to restrict the visibility of the lights found.
The vessel is provided with a Custom triple-axle aluminum-frame trailer built with a bunk system, brakes, lighting, and ladder access. It is constructed by the vessel manufactured Nerowalker. It completed construction on March 1, 2024, with an empty weight of 2000 lbs. and can carry 19,000 lbs.
The trailer is centered around three axles, each with Kodiak surge brakes. The center bunks can be removed prior to loading the vessel and reinstalled when the vessel is in place. The periphery of the trailer is tapped with very good reflective tape and lighting.
