LEGAL LIMIT is a great example of a small, super-efficient but full featured custom sportfisherman. Run 50 miles offshore, troll all day, run home, and only burn 100 gallons. Legal Limit will make that happen! Why buy an open boat or center console that burns tons of fuel and offers no comforts when you can have a sportfisher with a tower, air conditioning, bunks for a nap and full fishing features?! Come see her in beautiful and convenient Charleston, South Carolina.

Cold Molded Boats
Cold molding is a building technique that laminates multiple layers of wood veneers, or sometimes plywood, in various directions over a jig, creating a light, strong hull. An exterior layer of fiberglass is added for abrasion resistance. The layers are bonded with epoxy, and sometimes, carbon fiber or Kevlar is incorporated for strength and weight savings. The process is called cold molding because the epoxy cures at room temperature, rather than requiring heat.
