INTRODUCTION

LION’S PAW is owned by a very knowledgeable owner who has moved to a larger Hinckley Yacht. She has many custom upgrades, and no details were overlooked in this build. This boat is perfect for day or extended cruising.

Interior:

The boat’s 15’5” beam provides for spacious accommodations including comfortable pilothouse with built-in C shaped settees port and starboard; lower open salon with a custom convertible dinette to starboard and galley to port, two full heads with separate enclosed showers, and luxurious Master Suite with center-line queen bunk. Sleeps up to six.
The interior exudes Hinckley quality with her satin finished Cherry wood in the galley, heads, and master cabin and satin varnished pilothouse. Her cabin sole is exemplary with bright varnished teak and tulipwood.
Marine Air chilled-water reverse-cycle heat/air-conditioning with Dometic chillers.
Many custom elements on the interior not only make the boat more beautiful, but also more comfortable.

Exterior

This boat features the classic Hinckley color scheme with Flag Blue Awlgrip hull, Light Cream Gelcoat deck, Cream Awlgrip Single White Boot Stripe, and Black Bottom.
Varnished teak toe rail, eyebrow, and cockpit coaming caps and verticals along with stainless steel handrails and stainless-steel bow rail give the boat a great balance of looks and functionality.

The deep cockpit with a molded “L” settee to port and double seat to starboard features a beautiful teak sole and has a walk-through transom door to the swim platform.
Wide side decks, properly placed handrails and bow rail, and large foredeck makes handling lines/fenders easy and safe for docking.

Construction:

Hull: Hinckley DualGuard® Composite Construction- Aramid fiber/E-glass outer skin. Corecell M Foam for core. Carbon fiber/e-glass inner skin. Laminated with vinylester resin using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).
Deck: E-glass outer and inner skin with aircraft grade end grain balsa and closed cell foam core. Laminated using Seaman Composite Resin Infusion Molding Process (SCRIMP®).
Thru Hulls: Non-metallic composite thru-hull fittings with ball valve seacocks below waterline and above the waterline where appropriate. Bronze ball valve seacocks, thru-hull fittings, and sea strainers on propulsion engines.

Deck Features:

Toe Rail: Rounded and tapered varnished teak toe rail with Hinckley profile
Anchor Locker: Molded into the foredeck, gas-spring assisted hatch. Custom Hinckley designed fixed stainless steel, type 316L anchor roller. Raw water deck wash and Maxwell hydraulic windlass
Rubrail: Stainless steel half-round on solid molding
Chocks: Two Hinckley open bow chocks and four Hinckley closed chocks located fore & aft, type 316L stainless steel

Fender Pad Eyes: Ten fender pad eyes, five port & five starboard, on side decks, for hanging fenders. Stainless steel half round chafe strip on teak toe rail at each pad eye location
Mast: Hinckley aluminum mast atop pilothouse roof. Mast powder coated to match deck
Ensign: One stern-mounted 5’ varnished teak staff with flush socket accompanied by flag of appropriate nationality
Bow Burgee: Varnished teak staff with flush socket
Custom LED downlighting installed in underside of bow rail

Swim Platform: Hinckley-designed fiberglass platform with teak treads and stainless-steel half-round.

Swim Ladder: Telescoping three-step stainless steel ladder; stores under swim platform

Custom Al Fresco Dining set in cockpit includes two gloss tables for port cockpit settee at dining height with SS Crown pedestals and bases. Tables include short pedestals for lowering to lounge height with cushions and covers.
Stamoid Cockpit Cover: Attaches to aft end of pilothouse and covers to end of cockpit. Attaches with snaps. Zippered access from transom.

PILOTHOUSE/SALON:

Enter the Pilothouse through the sliding, curved stainless steel framed, full height gray tinted glass aft Pilothouse Doors that open to seamlessly connect the cockpit and pilothouse spaces. The doors slide closed to provide protection from the elements yet still providing excellent visibility and natural light.

Pilothouse Windows offer great 360⁰ viewing: Three (3) fixed forward windows with laminated safety glass and fully concealed stainless-steel frames. Two (2) side windows with powered sliding side center section and fully concealed stainless-steel frames. Stamoid exterior mounted window covers

Aft Salon Area:

The Salon area has custom built-in curved U-shaped Settees port and starboard with built-in cup holders outboard.

Salon Table - Starboard is a varnished cherry pilothouse table that converts from dining to berth height on an electric chrome pedestal. Includes padded table cover.
A 26” retractable TV is built into the forward port settee just behind the passenger helm seat and will slide down out of the way when not in use.

Helm Area Forward:

Helm Seating: Three Stidd® - Two to starboard – Power fore and aft, and up and down, mounted on custom cherry locker with footrests and Haier 16 bottle wine cooler below. Chrome hardware package on all helm seats. Port seat, full chrome pedestal.
Chart Locker: Storage provided for charts forward of port side seat.
Cup holders built in outboard port and starboard.
Steering Wheel: Varnished wood rimmed wheel with SS hub and spokes, 14” diameter.

Just forward of the companionway steps down from the pilothouse is the Galley. The two upper steps are customized for storage. Aft to starboard is custom lower salon with L-Settee and table that converts to bunk. Forward to starboard is Guest/Day Head with separate shower. Opposite forward to port is Master Head and separate shower. Forward most is the Master Cabin.
