Purchased by the present family in 1994, they liked the Swan 76 model so much, the family bought a second Swan 76 keeping her at the same time in the southern hemisphere. In 1995 a major refit was carried out at the Hinckley Yacht Yard in Rhode Island. The refit, in part, included extending the hull and deck to 80’, replacing the teak decking and winches, adding the burgundy leather upholstery, air conditioning and water maker. New North working sails were added in 2021, and in 2023 all new communication and navigation electronics were added.
The present captain has been with MELINKA since 2006 and he has maintained her to the exacting standards you will see should you decide to view her.
MELINKA is in spectacular condition, she is a rare find. Viewings are highly recommended.
