However, in a significant overhaul in 2009, it underwent a major refit which included re-powering with newer, lighter Cummins Engines, model QSM-11. These modern engines, notable for their efficiency and reduced weight, currently show about 430 operational hours.

Additionally, during the 2009 refit, the boat's generator was upgraded to a newer model. The replacement was an Onan 9Kw generator, model 9MDKBL, a reliable diesel-powered unit which has accumulated approximately 712 hours of use to date.

The vessel is also fitted with both bow and stern thrusters, enhancing maneuverability in tight docking situations. Another standout feature is the ASD 12 Arnesson drive, which is known for its high performance and durability.
