MISS NINA is a 55' Phil Bolger pilothouse shoal-draft ketch built by the renowned Story Shipyard in Essex Massachusetts in 1996. The current owners purchased her in 2009 and performed a full refit, restoring her Carvel planked hull and all her systems in North Carolina, before motoring her back to Maine to complete her restoration. Upon her arrival in Maine she was taken to Searsport, Maine where MISS NINA spent 8-months indoors undergoing an extensive restoration bringing her back to her current shape. In 2011 MISS NINA was relaunched and her knowledgeable owners operated her as a day charter vessel in the Belfast Maine area. They are marine professionals, owning and operating a successful boat yard in the Belfast, Maine where MISS NINA is stored inside and maintained to an exacting standard. She has been launched July 2024 and is now ready to take new "stewards" South. An insurance survey done in 2024 is available and all recommendations have been done.
