Turn-Key and ready to use this summer
This beautifully presented Swordsman 30, Swordsman's award-winning powerboat, is ready for a new home after a 2024 refit.
The Swordsman 30 is a great boat for Coastal cruising and long weekends. She can sleep four comfortably and the cockpit is large enough to entertain more. She has always been "dry sailed", and spent 8 years in storage under shrink wrap "superfluous to the first owners' needs prior to the current owner recommissioning her, accounting for her exceptional condition. Some of the systems on this Swordsman 30 have remained unused by the current owner: VHF radio, shower/wash basin and scavenge system, calorifier, water storage/pressuriser/sink, ceramic hob. (There has never been any cooking onboard, so there are no residual odour in the upholstery). There is also a new/unused VHF radio Raymarine handset on this Swordsman 30 (The current owners use an ICOM handheld radio which is included). Based on the successful Fairey Spearfish design, this modern Swordsman 30 version outshines the original. The 440Hp engine coupled with Hamilton jet propulsion both with minimal hours on this Swordsman 30 together with a powerful bow thruster makes this boat very manoeuvrable.
In addition to her 2024 refit, this Swordsman 30 benefits from Raymarine navigation equipment, Victron 2.5Kw inverter, heating to all internal areas, microwave, radiant heat ceramic hob, deck and cockpit fridges, low-level table/cushion to convert forward space into double berth, substantial bathing platform, anchor/windlass and, winter-cover protecting entire boat and keeping her in pristine condition all year long.Cabin upholstery on this Swordsman 30 is "as new", Morpheus has been principally used as a day boat within the Solent.

"The Legend Rekindled"
The most sought-after power boat of the 1960s was undoubtedly the Fairey Boat. A list of owners sounds like a who's who of one of the most exciting and innovative decades of British design; Sir Max and Lady Violet Aitken, Tommy Sopwith, actress Deborah Kerr, band-leader Billy Cotton and many others all owned at least one and a number of Fairey boats featured in the James Bond film "From Russia With Love".
Fairey boats combined comfort with spacious accommodation; a renowned seaworthiness with handling qualities second to none; and delivered performance, courtesy of the deep-V planing hull, such that the cruiser classes of numerous Cowes-Torquay and London-Monte Carlo races were successfully campaigned by Fairey boats.
Fairey Marine's designer was Alan Burnard, and today his proven hull design from the Fairey Spearfish forms the basis of the Swordsman 30.
