This 2022 Beneteau 40.1 is in "Exceptionally Clean Condition" and shows as a NEW Boat.
The original owner sailed her from the factory in France to Martinique, accomplishing a life-long dream. Bucket-List checked. Upon arrival in Martinique, she was marketed for sale and purchased by the current owner.
The current owner after purchase, imported and documented her in the US sailing her from Martinique to Puerto Rico. She now is currently in a dedicated slip, being professionally maintained with weekly cleaning and regular maintenance checks. All equipment is fully operational with service checks being performed by a local professional yachting management team.
The current owner has sailed her on 4 occasions for up to 1 week and absolutely loves the vessel. A recent change in priorities and location has allowed her to be back on the market. She is priced to sell fast.

This 40-foot cruiser, with a new hull design by Marc Lombard, offers unrivaled deck volume and interior space, an there are no concessions to performance.
A Boat Review written by Tom Dove in SAIL magazine stated, "On a breezy day in smooth water, the Beneteau 40.1 was exceptionally easy to handle, steadily returning 7.5 knots of boatspeed close-hauled in 15 knots of wind. On reaches, we topped 8 knots. A Beneteau representative explained that the double-chined hull submerges as a V shape when heeled, resulting in straight tracking. Whatever the cause, the helm stayed nearly neutral on all the courses as well as in the puffs while still returning gentle feedback that made steering a pleasure."
This 12-metre long Oceanis 40.1 has 3 Cabins and 2 Heads layout, see photo.
Mainsail Is TECHNIVOILE (42m²), Furling Genoa TECHNIVOILE (27m²), Gennaker "CODE 0" (115m²). Due to roller furling sails and properly sized winches, this vessel is easily sailed shorthanded. The rig is large and powerful and allows for a good turn of speed under sail. Sail surface upwind (close-hauled) is an impressive 70m².
Exterior Design
How can you enjoy life at anchor as much as sailing? With the innovative flared hull design of the Oceanis 40.1, and steps extending over a third of the bow, BENETEAU has broken new ground but made no concessions. The result is a hull that has true speed potential and is stiff under sail. Above the waterline, her deck plan and ultra-spacious interior by Nauta Design is unheard of on a boat this size. You cannot help feeling that you are aboard a 45 foot cruiser!
Interior Design
With a walnut ALPLI veneered and white laminated panels, the styling of the interior by Italian designers Nauta, is remarkably bright and excels in the skillful arrangement of the living spaces. She has a C-shaped galley on the starboard, offering lots of storage and a spacious worktop. On the port side, there is a large saloon with a table and a removable bench, and a chart table at the foot of the companionway provides ample working space.
