*Lengthened from 36 feet in 1999, the 38 was the first of a series of jet-powered designs from Little Harbor Yachts that had no props or rudders and an extremely shallow draft for its size. Matched with a pair of Hamilton waterjets and twin diesels that range from 330 to 420 horsepower, the 38s cruise anywhere between 24 and 35 knots. In 1999, Little Harbor Yachts was sold to Hinckley, which eventually discontinued the brand, but the Whisperjet 38 and all Little Harbors are known for retaining their value.
