The Oyster 53, conceived as the younger sibling to the highly acclaimed Oyster 56, is a remarkable achievement in its own right.
Designed by Rob Humphreys, this model, the second in the Oyster lineup, enjoyed considerable success, with fifty-two vessels launched between 1999 and 2008.
Renowned for being fast, well-balanced, superb in poor weather, and simple to handle, the 53, is a fantastic Oyster.
Launched in 2003, Ratty's Wisdom is a great example of a yacht that has been configured to deliver.
Below decks, she offers great versatility and potential capability for long-distance cruising with 3 spacious cabins, and an extra fourth featuring a convenient single cabin/workshop. Despite being the smallest Oyster with a 3 cabin layout, the fully equipped galley, and spacious entertaining space make the Oyster 53 feel much bigger than her size.
