It's easy to see why this has been one of the most popular family cruisers ever. Highlights: Low Engine Miles on Yanmar 3YM30 (1876) 16000 BTU Air Conditioning Newer Ray Marine Electronics Package Front Loading Fridge with top loading freezer Recent Survey showed "Above Average Condition" Roller Furling Mainsail and Headsail This boat was sailed in and around Wilmington, NC and typically day sailed, no heavy stress on the engine or rigging. She's a wonderful boat for day sailing but with her equipment including a liferaft, she begs to go offshore and is very capable of doing so, with a little over 1800 hours on the engine, it has plenty of miles to go. The A/C in the salon is 16,000 BTU keeping the salon cool and dry at dock. She boasts well equipped, workable L shaped galley to port. This galley has a double stainless steel sink, both a top loading fridge/freezer and very convenient front loading fridge. How many times have you had to dig for that last soda? Topside aft, why not outfit a grill? This is made convenient with two propane tanks in a dedicated propane locker. The number of fans and opening hatches keep the air moving increasing the comfort considerably. The volume of room below-decks is a wonderful surprise in a boat this size. A large bright salon can easily accommodate 6 or more for dinner. The microwave above the navigation station to starboard make last minute heat ups a breeze. That combined with the warm, light woodworking makes this a very fine boat to spend a week or more at a time on. Shades afford privacy and keep the sun out on those hot days. Traveling aft on the topside you'll find a helm seat that lifts and leads to a teak trimmed swim deck. Great for swimming or diving and increases safety as well. Another very convenient feature is the outboard engine hoist to save your back! As with the Beneteau line of sailboats, you can expect to cruise in comfort and speed! Recent Survey available. Please call today if you'd like to set up a private showing! Thanks for taking a look! Check out the review from Sailing Magazine: "The 37 combines the established talents of naval architects from Groupe Finot with elegant interior styling from Milan-based Nauta Design. The result is a thoroughly modern look that marries form and function in a very user-friendly package. A careful inspection of the line drawings reveals that there is not much sheer from the nearly plumb bow to rakish reversed transom. However, the natural flow of the angular coach-roof into the fore-deck gives an impression of sheer and grace. Below the waterline the 37 features a narrow-chord fin keel, externally fastened with stainless steel bolts and backing plates and coated with anti-corrosion epoxy. The rudder blade is free standing with a beefy stainless steel stock. The propeller exits the hull through a molded skeg, eliminating the need for an external strut. There's not much forefoot, part of the reason for the 37's impressive performance..."
