Peter Quintal

Peter grew up boating on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. There, he experienced family boating, surfing, fishing, and clamming from a very young age in the Great South Bay. His boating addiction advanced at age 17 when Peter purchased and took a year to restore a 1917 30’ custom wooden motoryacht, entered her in a local classic boat show, and sold her soon after (his first sale).

Peter personally has owned 17 power boats and yachts of various sizes, models, and build construction over the years. He has captained many boats and yachts for friends and clients between New York, Florida, and the Bahamas.

Peter was a partner and operations manager in the Quintal Family contracting business on Long Island, New York right out of high school until moving to Florida in 1997 to manage a plastics factory that produced marine products until 2003.

It was at this time, in 2003, that he decided to follow his passion and move into yacht sales full-time for the largest marine retailer specializing in new and pre-owned boats and yachts. In 2010, he left to assist in launching Nautique Yachting USA, which distributed and sold new Neptunus, Zeelander, and VanDutch yachts, as well as brokerage boats and yachts. In 2012, Peter joined forces with the Denison Yachting family to specialize in new yacht construction and pre-owned brokerage yacht sales. He has been a top producer for Denison and achieved Yacht Broker of the Year for several years.

When not assisting customers with their yachting needs, Peter enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, and snow skiing with his wife, Anna, daughter, Hannah, and son, Jake.
